Your job

As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will work in a DevOps team within Personal Banking. The part where you will work focuses on the realisation and maintenance of Personal banking (customer) applications for web. Within ABN AMRO IT we work according to the SCRUM framework, a software development methodology based on the Agile mindset. Your scrum team consists of different disciplines (Cloud, Front-end Js., Back-end JAVA, Reliability Engineering). An excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge even faster, we learn from each other. Personal Banking is a department with responsible team players, an 'approachable mentality', innovative and with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Working environment

Within the Personal Banking Grid (department) at ABN AMRO we are building mobile & web apps for our clients to engage with their financial needs in a personal and innovative way. Examples are the Grip app, the ABN AMRO App and the ABN AMRO Internet Banking website. At the Personal Banking Grid we believe in agile way of working, while focusing on solid principles that gives teams a sense of autonomy and purpose over the direction they work in, while working on getting better at things that matter to master new/important skills.

These apps wouldn’t exist without developers and engineers using their talent and skills to get this done. All our teams share the passion for building, reinventing and innovating to help people (regardless of what bank they use) as much as possible. Our ultimate goal is to expand these projects and make it even easier for our customers and to unburden them with their financials. The entire Grid is excited for what’s coming next. Your profile

• 5+ years of experience
• You are able to write web test automation scripts (JavaScript or Java preferred)
• Experience with test design techniques
• Experience with Agile Frameworks, DevOps Automation, cloud platform and services (Azure)
• Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
• Experience with requirement management.
• Experience with CI/CD Tooling
• Ability to communicate directly with business and technical stakeholders to collaborate on new designs, and write (technical) documentation
• Strong communication skills (verbal and writing) in English
• You are a strong team player and together with your colleagues, you manage to take the team to a higher level

Nice to have

• Knowledge of API testing and mocking tools
