Within the Platform & Technology organisation (IT4IT) the department Development Tooling is responsible for managing 250+ applications that support ABN AMRO IT teams (~3000 IT engineers) in CICD practices. Within our toolstack are Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Nexus, Fortify, Jira, Confluence, Ansible Tower, NeoLoad, and more. We have a vision for a compliant development path into production with minimal complexity. To achieve this compliant path into production we provide our customers with automated, easy, fast, secure, effective, efficient pipelines and our capability expertise with teams in the Netherlands and India.
Your job
The team you will be joining is the team within the Development Tooling department that manages the Azure DevOps SAAS environment within ABN AMRO. Within this team you will enhance the Azure DevOps functionality with integrations, improving automated onboarding, setting up and improving policies, Furthermore, this team is seen as the leading team within the department when it comes to the Azure DevOps centric CICD platform. That is why the team members participate in multiple initiatives (we call them circles or triangles) where they assist or take the lead to optimize new designs and initiatives on the Azure DevOps CICD platform.
Working environment
The team (known as ADOPT: Azure DevOps Platform Team) currently exists of 8 people including the PO and SM. Working in ADOPT gives you the chance to shape the way other ABN AMRO developers work, using the newest and most recent technologies (while getting to know these technologies inside out). Part of our work is helping users get the most out of our platform. We strive to be an impactful team, advocating a DevOps mindset within the bank. Within the team we find it important to be honest and open in our communication, we foster an open atmosphere, where everyone is free to speak their mind and is listened to. We encourage collaboration between team members (for example pair programming), and always help each other out were needed. Your profile
Your profile
- (Must) Microsoft Azure certified on an associate or expert level
- (Must) Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps services
- Experience with quality assurance and agile testing in a cloud environment
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with orchestration of application infrastructure and/or configuration through code (> 1 year)
- Experience with agile way of working
- Experience with working in DevOps teams
- Experience with customer engagement from a modern cloud infrastructure perspective
Behavioural skills
