Are you a technical expert and a people person who likes to work in a team but also wants to coach and inspire others? Then we are looking for you as Frontend Chapter Lead at our Consumer Grid. Within the Consumer Grid we work every day hard to develop and run the ABN AMRO App and ABN AMRO Internet Banking. We strongly believe in Design Thinking and a DevOps way of working. This helps us to research the real problems of our customers and come up with the right solutions for them.
Your job
As Frontend Chapter Lead, you will combine working as an Frontend engineer, with your role as Lead. This includes:
- Coaching your Chapter members on technical craftsmanship
- Guiding personal development of the people in your team
- Take care of the HR processes to facilitate all aspects relating to recruitment and the on- and offboarding of employees, development and performance
- Alignment with other chapters so we learn from each other and create strong a strong community of developers. Together you create a vision and strategy
- Actively participating in knowledge gaining and sharing by hosting triangles, circles, communities and events
- Alignment with IT Lead and Scrum Master
- Create and foster a healthy working environment and a holistic culture for your Chapter
- Educating yourself and others with the right technical capabilities and the latest innovations
Working environment
Within the Personal Banking Grid at ABN AMRO, we are building mobile & web applications. We offer a great digital experience for our clients to engage with their financial needs in a personal way. Examples are the Grip app, the ABN AMRO App and the ABN AMRO Internet Banking website.

Your profile
- 5+ years of experience in Vue.js
- Advanced with CI/CD tooling like Jenkins
- Programming languages
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Coaching skills
- Understand and act upon the Scrum Values (openness, courage, commitment, respect and focus)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience in working DevOps
- Release management
