As a oriented team player with IT knowledge and a German native speaker, you are interested to learn more about Markets in general and in particular Corporate Broking & Issuer Services. Our customers are publicly listed clients in North Western Europe, which are seeking for innovative and solid (IT) solutions. Within Corporate Broking & Issuer Services we offer a broad range of products and IT solutions. On the back of these IT solutions, we provide advisory services with the aim to become the trusted advisor to publicly listed clients. In the Netherlands we are market leader in the issuer service area, whereby we are seeking for a candidate who is willing to grow our market share in DACH region, in particular Germany.

Your job

Corporate Broking & Issuer Services is a dynamic team. Our activity is mainly offering issuer services to publicly listed clients in North Western Europe. One can think of, assisting companies with their first listing on the Frankfurt stock exchange (IPO), or a merger, but also more daily driven activities such as assisting companies with their annual general shareholders meeting, dividend/coupon/redemption payments and shareholder identification.

  • You will be responsible for assisting the team with their day to day activity with an important focus - but not limited to - Germany and the various IT tools used by our clients.
  • You will need to build a bridge between IT, clients and the respective account managers.
  • Furthermore, we have a strong wish to automate and standardize operational processes, enabling us to focus on our clients and try to keep adding value to our customers.

Working environment

The department Corporate Broking & Issuer Services is part of the leading Equity Capital Markets team in the Benelux and is located in Amsterdam. There is a very pleasant but professional working environment with colleagues who are flexible and do not adhere to a strict nine to five activity. We strive to go for that extra mile to our clients and are therefore very client focused. Building up long term relationships is the basis of our success.

Your profile

Do you recognize yourself in the following profile? In that case, we would like to receive your application!

  • You are a German Native speaker with good communication skills;
  • You have a acadamic work level and you already know a bit about financial markets;
  • You can translate clients needs to requirements and vice versa;
  • You are multi-tasker, who is not afraid of handling administrative tasks, but can also grow into a role of German accountmanager;
  • You have an IT oriented background with proven Excel, Power BI and Phyton skills;
  • You are able to perform data analysis (pandas, data cleaning, data visualization, creating charts, using slicer etc.);
  • You like to work in a dynamic and entrepeneurial environment, as we are sometimes seen as start-up within the bank.

We are offering

  • A monthly salary ranging from € 4.111 - € 5.872;
  • A supplementary benefit budget of 11%, paid out monthly or convertible into benefits such as mobile phone, e-bike, wearables or extra time off;
  • A personal development budget of €1000 per year for self-directed learning;
  • 5 'Banking for Better Days' which are days off that you can utilize for personal developement or voluntary work;

  • The role will start with a one year contract with a possibility to obtain a permanent contract.
