Your job

As a Risk Program Controller, you will work on the management information for the entire Risk Management department, starting with the Sustainable Finance Regulations (SFR) Program. Within SFR you will be part of the Central Program Team responsible for the implementation of Sustainable Finance Regulations. In this role you are responsible for the management information of the SFR Program which comprises a budget of tens of millions of euros. In addition, you work in the team to realize the SFR objectives and in particular the benefit tracking and value creation. As SFR Program Controller you support the Risk Management business control team and prepare relevant (qualitative and quantitative) analyses and reports, high-quality management information, advices and proposals. You strive for continuous improvements, create synergy benefits and monitor and guarantee quality. As a SFR Program Controller you are the linking pin that ensures that we have continuous insights which guide smart decision-making. Once the budgeting process and benefit tracking for the SFR Program is running smoothly, you will support other regulatory projects and departments within Risk Management with business control activities.

Working environment

You will work in the Central Program Team responsible for the implementation of Sustainable Finance Regulations. Functionally, you will be part of Central Risk Management which is a department within the Risk Management function. As SFR Program Controller you will report to the SFR Program Manager. The Central SFR Program Team works closely with the Commercial Client Units responsible for the implementation of new regulations, the Business Controllers and the subsidiaries. Your working environment is characterized as dynamic with a lot of attention to communication and within which you can continue to develop yourself.

Your profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who is not afraid to ask questions, works in a structured manner and deals with challenges in a proactive and decisive manner. You are critical, have a control mindset and you do not allow others to derail you from your course. At the same time it is imperative that you can work as part of a team. What matters is that your entrepreneurial nature helps you to overcome resistance you may encounter along the way. Your profile:

  • HBO / WO (business) economic education or similar direction
  • Demonstrable quantitative insight and analytical skills and experience in developing and creating management information
  • Structured way of working and control mindset
  • Knowledge of bank regulatory requirements is an advantage
  • Affinity and experience with Excel
  • Affinity with JIRA and Excel PowerBI is an advantage
  • Stress resistant and able to deliver within timelines
  • Strong communication skills in English, knowledge on the Dutch language is considered a plus
