Your job

The department Finance & Risk Business GRIDs deliver Finance and Risk services to its stakeholders i.e Group Finance, Risk Management, Legal and Internal Audit. These services encompass operations and change activities for the departments Accounting and Reporting in Finance, Credit Risk, Central Risk Management, Financial Restructuring & Recovery, Risk Modelling, I&ORM, SIM and Compliance in Risk Management and Legal, Corporate Office and Internal Audit in the CEO domain.These services include system, processes, data and information management & analytics capabilities with in all areas the embedded controls and required documentation. The change activities are delivered in alignment with the bank strategy and the Finance & Risk Strategy.


FRBG is divided in several units:

  • GRID Financial Risk; this team provides operations, IT and change service for the Financial Risk types (e.g. Credit risk)
  • GRID Non-Financial Risk; this team provides operations, IT and change service for the Non-Financial Risk types (e.g. Compliance Risk, fraude handling, IT&Operational Risk, Business Continuity)
  • Data Department F&R this team provides operations, IT and change service for the data of the Non-Financial and Financial Risk types including Modelling and Risk Reporting
  • GRID Finance: this team provides operation, IT and change service for the for Financial Reporting, Accounting and ALM.
  • Strategic Regulatory change: this team provides inside and overside for the whole FRBG change portfolio
  • There is a big emphasis on IT within this role, being tech savy is a requirement

In your role as Grid Owner Non-Financial Risk you are responsible for:

  • The strategic and tactical leadership of the Grid NFR. Translating the NFRstrategy into concrete objectives and priorities for the Grid.
  • Leading and owning the design and implementation of the Non-Finance Risk changes, systems and processupport for NFR stakeholders
  • Establishing a vision for the Non Financial Risk technology strategy in response to market, technology and business trends and opportunities and in line with regulatory expectations and consistently with the Bank’s IT, data and innovation strategy and standards
  • Managing the planning, execution, supervision and review of the Non-Financial Risk systems and (IT) governance/processes
  • Responding to requests from stakeholders such as I&ORM/SIM/Compliance/Audit to improve/develop NFR infrastructure, processes and data
  • Managing and controlling daily on processes, controls and IT operations
  • Maintaining a strong control framework to ensure controlled and stable operations of the function

  • Supporting IT for NFR frameworks and controls on regulatory implementation to ensure control and ensure continuous monitoring and evidencing of adherence to policies and regulations;
  • Aligning on priority, capacity allocation and skill-set across the value chain in cooperation with stakeholders

Your profile

Ideal experience

Qualifications

  • Master in IT, Legal, Business Administration or comparable degree in a related field of study
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant financial services experience including experience in managing large teams and change or IT transformation programs
  • Experience with support of NFR processes and implementation of new techniques and approaches
  • Experience with regulatory change implementation
  • Technical skills
  • Expertise or strong working knowledge relative to banking and Non-Financial risk management disciplines
  • Solid grasp of Risk Management processes supporting the NFR, Compliance and Legal functions, including control, business priorities, regulatory reporting, issues and risks
  • Solid understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements and their impact on the Bank

We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
