We are growing and therefor looking for expansion of our sales and marketing team and offer opportunities for ambitious, senior Sales Development managers who thrive in a client-facing advisory role. Be the driver of Topicus growth: identify new markets, develop and grow new clients and partnerships, and drive revenue as our sales-accelerator.
What will you do as Sales Developement manager at Topicus?
Most companies within the Financial Services industry are looking for digital solutions to reduce cost, increase customer journeys and customer empowerment, yet remaining compliant. Topicus’ vertical market software solutions are excellent in combining these goals. You will be responsible for challenging these enterprises to think outside of the box and realize the true value that Topicus brings to the table. You will follow up with their interest and convert new opportunities into successful and happy customers.
You will have opportunities to present digital solutions at international customer sites. You can build close relationships with new customers to understand their business drivers and understand how to establish buy-in at all levels (sales management, delivery leads and senior/executive management). You will identify and qualify new sales opportunities within Enterprise Banking and Financial Service customers and effectively run a sales cycle to reach and exceed your goals.
As our ambition is to grow internationally, you will have an important rol in this ambition. Together we will decide on the regions we will expect to grow and make an action plan together. We are looking for a self starting new business sales that will start expanding our international presence.
You are proactive, independent, courageous and ambitious and ready to take the next step in your sales career. Key skills include knowledge of Fintech/banking software solutions, understanding of the banking technology ecosystem, the ability to comprehend customer business drivers and secure buy-in at all levels, and conducting insightful conversations with C-level executives about their challenges.
Additionally, excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills are essential, along with digital fluency and a natural curiosity about market developments. In this role, you will identify and approach new customers, expand existing client relationships, manage and close significant software agreements, guide customers towards valuable digital banking strategies, and establish a trusted advisor role with large corporate banking clients.
Required Skills
- You have 5 years of experience with Software/Technology Sales
- You have HBO/University degree in a relevant field (business, marketing, engineering, communications)
- You have experience in the Fintech and/or Banking Industry
- You have experience with leading customers to have value-focused digital banking strategies
- You speak English fluently and are willing to travel abroad.
- Attention to a good balance between work and private life
