Product Owner Process Automation

In het kort

Within the Process Automation Grid we strive to improve and digitalise the day-to-day experience of our clients and employees throughout the Bank. We take a leading role as orchestrator of employee driven processes across departments. Both from a business and IT perspective. We use multiple automation tools for digitizing processes, developing applications and providing integration services.

As Product Owner of two teams, you are the voice of the client and of your teams. You know what is important for the client and ensure that products always deliver maximum customer value. In addition, you represent the internal stakeholders: you know their interests and their needs. In practical terms this means that you take decisions on behalf of both the client and the stakeholders. You formulate a vision for your Block and prioritise the activities. You also ensure that your Block receives the right support. You will work closely with the other Product Owners and VPT to mature the new hyperautomation vision and our automation products. Together with business and process experts across the Bank, Saga Integrators, and in close collaboration with the other Product Owners (from our own and other Grids) you realize our One Bank process digitalization goals.

What do you see when you envision the next step? Work on achieving your goals and develop yourself professionally and personally. Tell us your story.

Je werk

As Product Owner for 2 HyperFlow blocks in our Grid, you have a great deal of freedom and therefore a great deal of responsibility. You initiate and organise initiatives with the aim of ensuring that the Bank delivers maximum business value by using our HyperFlow technology (TIBCO AMX). This means that you determine the backlog of the delivery blocks and their prioritisation. You therefore also have responsibility for accepting or refusing work for your team. You weigh the interests of all relevant stakeholders in good time and in a clear and transparent way. You also liaise with Product Owners from other Blocks about interdependencies in the backlogs. In everything you do, the focus is on putting the client first and thus on optimising the business value, framed within the applicable legislation and regulations and the strategy of ABN AMRO. The Product Owner has sole responsibility for managing the Product Backlog. Among other things, Product Backlog management involves: Providing a clear description of Product Backlog items; Organising Product Backlog items so as to ensure optimum achievement of goals and mission; Optimising the value of the work done by the team; Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent and clear for everyone, and that it shows what the team will be working on next; and ensuring that the Development Team understands the Product Backlog items to the required level of detail.

You like to work in a dynamic environment, where every day is different and where you can shape the future of our client and employee experience. The Process Automation Grid and the department BPM-PD are an integral part of the strategy execution in our Bank. We play a central role in the design and acceleration of digitalization, where innovation, digital transformation and harmonisation across departments are key strategic goals. We experiment with concepts around process digitalisation, robotics, electronic signature and data analytics. You will work closely with colleagues from the business and other digitalisation grids (e.g. Digital Banking, CRM, ECM, DFC and Core Banking).
