Are you up for the challenge?
As an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining good quality and future proof IT solutions. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects and business stakeholders, to ensure the stability, reliability, and security of our platform. You work in a DevOps team responsible for analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of software to automate and support business processes. You will be working in a team, focussed on building personalisation APIs for the bank.
Financial institutions are facing disruptive market developments, among others sparkled by instant payments and technological innovations. It is our ambition to ensure that ABN AMRO continues to be able to offer high quality and relevant services to our clients by opening up to partners and clients.
You will be part of the Dialogue Orchestration department, which is at the heart of the innovation and growth strategy of our Personal & Business Banking business line.
The team you are going to be part of, is a multidisciplinary group of ambitious colleagues working with an Agile mindset and with a focus on building personalisation API's for the bank. The team is responsible for the entire chain in the development of APIs. In this team we work hard, learn a lot by challenging ourselves every day, while embracing humour for a good atmosphere. Openness, transparency, quality and ownership are key values.

The must haves for this role are the following:
- Experience in working with Azure in large scale (corporate) environments with complex network set-ups (AZ-104 / AZ-204 certification would be an added advantage)
- Experience in building API's (REST/GraphQL preferred)
- Developing and debugging in Java; Python on top would be great (experience in Spring Boot / Quarkus would be a plus)
- Experience in deploying applications in Kubernetes
- Experience with CICD tools (such as Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Fortify and NexusIQ).
- Most importantly - Willingness to learn
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit
