Product Owner Networks On Premise

As a Product Owner Network On Premise you work together with the other Product Owners within the Network department and you stay in touch with our consumer community to understand what is needed. Together with your own Devops team you will develop a roadmap and drive the backlog for ABN AMRO’s Interconnectivity hub and ensure that it has a high degree of automation and integrates with other IT services pipelines to maximise value for the Bank/our consumers.
We expect you to create added value, align and connect with all stakeholders involved. We do not just deliver a product, therefore you have to be able to emphatise with our consumers and relevant stakeholders. You stick as much as possible to the committed incremental planning.
As the Product Owner Network On Premiseyou have (enough) knowledge on Network technologies like routing, switching and firewalls, etc. to understand where this can bring value for ABN AMRO. The in-depth knowledge of these topics is in your DevOps team, in order you can focus on getting the backlog done and aligned with security restrictions.
You organise sessions with relevant stakeholders to ensure you deliver the right value. Infrastructure has an intrinsic value on its own and as a Product Owner you will need to have knowledge on your network products & services to make it count for ABN AMRO.
PIP Networks is organised in 4 Blocks Supported with an Operations team and a Change execution team. Each Block has a Product Owner that drives the backlog on Development & Operations of the Services within that block. Network End User (NEU) drives the Office environment with WAN connectivity and WiFi. Network On-Prem drives the Data Center LAN environment and the traditional Security Perimeter functions. Network Interconnect (NIC) provides connectivity between Datacenter/Hosting Platforms and External parties (including SaaS) . Network Design and Innovation (NDI) provides the HLD designs to support the other Blocks. Networks Services Operations team will handle all day2day service requests and act as first point of contact on issues/outages. Network change and project team will execute day2day configuration changes needed by consumers.
The PIP Networks department is part of the Platform & Technology business unit. P&T runs a standardized IT-landscape supporting all thousands of business applications. Key is flexibility to adopt new technology like cloud and support DevOps. P&T offers a wide range of self-service platform solution to the wider ABN AMRO organization. Reliable, compliant and Always on are our core values. Within P&T we mainly work in an Agile and DevOps fashion and are in the middle of implementing Superblocks, Infra team that work together on specific Value Cases.

Check your profile:
- Higher educational background and relevant work experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on value (either for the bank or users)
- You know how a bank works and have experience as a product owner (5 years +)
- You oversee the complexity of regulation, compliance, legislation, risk, commercial interest, IT and know how this relates to each other.
- Energetic by nature and focused on collaboration, a facilitating leadership style to achieve results.
- Skilled in analysing and structuring complex problems, identifying solutions/options and presenting your advice to stakeholders in a convincing and structured manner.
- Advanced knowledge of Scrum & DevOps
- Basic knowledge on IT Infrastructure products & services
- Knowledge IT Networks products & services ( routing, switching, Firewalls and Load balancers) to be able to understand the value they can bring for a company as ABN AMRO and drive value on the backlog.
- Experience with or good understanding on Automation services & products and delivery (pipelines)
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
