Your job

As a part of the Non-Financial Risk Consumer Data Team, you will be at the core of data management. Your objective is to create value out of the data by enabling the structural and compliant data delivery, transformation, dashboard and report generation on a new Azure cloud based platform.

The key activities you will be responsible for:
• Support the data users in defining functional and non-functional requirements.
• Lead discussions with requestors to understand and challenge the scope and the content of the requirements.
• Perform information analysis: being the bridge between business and IT.
• Have an end-to-end overview, from the Golden datasets to the use cases.
• Defining and registering metadata, analysing and resolving DQ issues, capturing governance lineage and supporting the construction of the business data model and logical data model.

Working environment

The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance & risk data on time. We do this by improving the data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 5 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.

Your profile

You have a proven ability in data analytics, data management, data modelling and/or data architecture. You are energetic, with a passion for combining thinking and doing. You have a handle on what is going on in the organisation, in particular with your stakeholders. Client focus is the main driver behind your work within the team. You take responsibility and you have a strong drive to maintain your own expertise. You are keen to actively contribute to further development and improvement of the area you work in.

If you think this sounds like you, check to see if your profile matches the following:
• You have extensive experience in data modelling, business analysis and functional analyses.
• You have affinity with IT/ data platform and knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and Data Integration.
• You have knowledge of data governance and data management best practices (e.g. DAMA) and the requirements in these areas from the regulator (e.g. BCBS239).
• You are a strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management.
• You have interest in non-financial risk area.
• You are teamwork-, innovation- and goal-orientated.
• You embrace the agile way of working and you have worked in and/or with Scrum/DevOps teams.
• You’ve successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.).
• You have at least 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
