International Card Services (ICS) is a 100% subsidiary of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. with its own bank license with DNB and AFM. ICS is a payment service provider and market leader in issuing credit cards in the Netherlands. We have been issuing, promoting, administrating and processing payments of Visa and Mastercard credit cards for over 30 years. ICS issues credit cards both under its own brand and in conjunction with co-branding partners, for both consumer and commercial clients. In addition, we offer various other financial services and products.

You will be a part of the management team of ICS Finance. For some of your tasks you have will regular contact with departments within ABN AMRO Group (e.g. Accounting, Procurement).
You are responsible for:
- People management for a team of 15 Finance professionals, leading by example, mentoring team members for skill enhancement and career growth and ensuring the team's capabilities meet the dynamic needs of the organization.
- Procurement: Purchase and contracting of products and services for ICS and optimization of the procurement process while ensuring compliance
- Accounting: Determining the amounts which have to be paid to the schemes, bank account management, journaling daily credit card mutations in the ledger, obligations administration, suspense account management, and ensuring the correctness and completeness of the general ledger
- Payments: Monitoring and processing incoming and outgoing payments and (rejected) direct debit files, processing/paying off/writing off (credit) balances on (closed) accounts, and executing payments to the schemes and to and from the DNB
- Setting up an environment of risk awareness, in-control mindset, and continuous improvement
You work in the ICS Finance team which consists of around 35 Finance professionals. As Head of Procurement, Accounting & Payments you are part of the MT Finance of ICS and you are reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. You are also included in the wider Leadership Team of ICS.

- Economics and/or Business administration at Master level or a similar post-graduate education
- Thinking and working at an academic level
- 7-10 years of leadership experience (functional or hierarchical) within Finance-departments in the financial services industry
- Proven expertise and relevant working experience in Accounting and Procurement
- You have an independent view and can translate your insights into clear advice
- You have strong communication skills and are able to build trust in a senior environment. Good stakeholder management.
- Demonstrable ability to think critically, implementing efficient & robust processes and show advanced analytical skills
- Present on the workplace, have good social skills and know how to work together with and within a team.
- Well-developed organisational sensitivity and know how to move between the different layers in the organization
- Strong focus on risk awareness & reduction, cost control and effective control frameworks
- Understands the importance of being compliant with law and regulations
- Preference for bi-lingual candidates (both English & Dutch)
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
