Product Owner Network Security

Do you have a vision to drive the Network Infrastructure Security services? Together with your team develop and run Security Services and create end2end connectivity solutions on security. Be an important enabler of our Zero Trust ambitions then respond to this vacancy.

As a Product Owner Network Security you will build and Security Services like Firewalls, Proxy and Remote Access. Working closely with other Connectivity Teams and Security Teams on integrating our Security Services into 1 single governance & control.

We expect you to create added value, align and connect with all stakeholders involved. We do not just deliver a technical product, therefore you have to be able to emphasise with our consumers and relevant stakeholders. You stick as much as possible to the committed incremental planning. As the Product Owner Network Security you have (enough) knowledge on Network Security technologies e.g. Palo Alto Firewalls, Z-Scaler ZIA & ZPA to understand where this can bring value for ABN AMRO. The in-depth knowledge of these topics is in your DevOps team, in order you can focus on getting the backlog done and aligned with security restrictions.

PIP Networks & Datacenter is organised in 2 main Focus Areas: Foundation and Engineering. Where Foundation will focus mainly on Operations and Service Management. The Engineering focus area will focus on driving technology roadmaps. Both Focus Areas will work closely together to achieve the Network & Datacenter vison & mission.

The PIP Networks& DataCenter department is part of the Platform & Technology business unit. P&T runs a standardized IT-landscape supporting all thousands of business applications. Key is flexibility to adopt new technology like cloud and support DevOps. P&T offers a wide range of self-service platform solution to the wider ABN AMRO organization. Reliable, compliant and Always on are our core values. Within P&T we mainly work in an Agile and DevOps fashion and are in the middle of implementing Superblocks, Infra team that work together on specific Value Cases.

We are looking for a professional that knows how to deal with the pressure of in high exposure and complex environment. You are strong in creating a vision, partly due to your drive and energy, you are able to achieve goals and inspire the people around you. You use a facilitating leadership style. Moreover we are looking for a colleague with:

• Higher educational background and relevant work experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on value (either for the bank or users)
• You know how a bank works and have experience as a product owner (5 years +)
• You oversee the complexity of regulation, compliance, legislation, risk, commercial interest, IT and know how this relates to each other.
• Energetic by nature and focused on collaboration, a facilitating leadership style to achieve results.
• Skilled in analysing and structuring complex problems, identifying solutions/options and presenting your advice to stakeholders in a convincing and structured manner.
• Advanced knowledge of Scrum & DevOps
• Basic knowledge on IT Infrastructure products & services
• Knowledge on IT Networks security systems & technologies: e.g Palo Alto Firewall, Z-scaler ZIA & ZPA to be able to understand the value the can bring for a company as ABN AMRO and drive value on the backlog.
• Good understanding on Automation services & products and delivery (pipelines)
• You take ownership across teams to get the desired results

• The gross monthly salary is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
• Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
