Your job

You support ABN AMRO’s strategy and ambitions internationally with a focus on the Securities & Derivatives domain.

As a Business Developer, you will be working on various topics in the Securities & Derivatives area with also a key focus on reporting related requirements for EMIR, MiFID and Market Abuse reports. Your focus will be mainly the back-office processing, but we expect you are able to have a complete overview from front till back. You will work closely with our business stakeholders in the countries to understand the requirements and align with the Value delivery block members who will develop and implement the solution.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. DELIVERY

Steer the achievement of the objectives set for the business and underlying Grids and facilitate the implementation of the plans of the business concerned and is responsible for the way changes are delivered by the teams and for maximising the efficiency of the IT landscape.

2. PARTICIPATION IN AGILE EVENTS

Participate as expert in his area of attention in the Scrum events of the grid and blocks.

3. QUALITY OF THE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Initiate studies, investigate and make proposals for continuously improving the products/processes/services and other tools in his/her area of responsibility and other tools in his area of attention to function better and more efficiently.

Working environment

You will be part of the Business Development team consisting of +/- 10 FTE business developers with a focus on specific domains. The Business Development team is part of the International Core Banking grid, a diverse internationally oriented grid. Your key stakeholders outside the grid are the foreign branches of Wealth Management and Corporate Banking.

Your base location is the Gustav Mahlerlaan, Amsterdam but you will also be expected to work at the Groenelaan, Amstelveen. Furthermore, as at many companies we expect you to work in a hybrid fashion. This effectively means that with your team you assess the best way to support the team's activities and come to a good balance between working from home and in the office.

Your profile

We're looking for a colleague who is:

- Knowledgeable in the Securities & Derivatives domain, i.e. understands the securities chain, regulatory / reporting requirements and is aware of relevant developments

- Analytical and familiar with agile way of working

- A stakeholder manager with good communication skills

- Has affinity with relevant IT topics, e.g. is able to understand the challenges of a software development team and has an understanding of DevOps

- Knowledge of the ABN Amro (international) world is a big plus

- You like to work in an international, challenging environment

We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary (max. Eur. 9.155) displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team).
