Business Developer III (Data)
Are you passionate about being at the forefront of the data management framework and shaping the foundation of the Finance and Risk Data Domain? We are seeking an eager and passions business developer to make an impact on the development of the Data Model and Control team and contribute to the Finance and Risk Information Model (FRIM).
FRIM is constantly in development. New regulations must be taken up in the model, existing reports, capabilities, and Risk models need to be translated to FRIM and where necessary the model needs to be extended.
The Data Model and Control teams support the stakeholders in Finance and Risk with the implementation of the current and future data structure. As an enabler in the Data Model and Control team, you are responsible to organize and coordinate the end to end process of the Business Data Model of the Finance & Risk data structure (FRIM).
The key activities you will be responsible for:
1. Organize and coordinate the end to end process in order to connect data modellers, subject matter experts, requesters, and other stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
2. Understand requirements to be able to perform quality assurance on data model implementation (terms, definitions, and relations).
3. Being the bridge between the Finance and Risk Data Domain and other data domains to ensure alignment on the data model implementation.
The Data Domain Finance & Risk is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG) and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring Finance & Risk data management to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable data on time for internal decision making and external reporting. We do this by improving the Finance & Risk data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Data Department Finance & Risk consists of 5 clusters where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.
You will work in the Data Model and Control team as part of the Enablers team. The team consists of professionals with diverse nationalities and backgrounds who are driven to contribute in the continuous improvements of the Finance and Risk Data Model an serve as a blue print for the development of the other data domains. The atmosphere is open. We work hard, but there’s plenty of room for learning and grow!
You love some project management action! You enjoy organising and following end to end a request to ensure their quality and timely completion. You are energetic, with a passion for combining thinking and doing. You take responsibility and you have a proven ability to work with various stakeholders and subject matter experts. You are a strong communicator.
If this sounds like you, check to see if your profile matches the following:
- You’ve successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.) and you have 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Leadership and persuasion skills for building consensus across stakeholders
- You are skilled and eager to learn about data governance, data modelling at business, conceptual and logical levels, preferably also at a physical level
- You are able to understand complicated topics, and you can explain/present complicated topics in a structured and insightful way.
- You have an excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
- You have demonstrable experience in the Financial Services Sector preferably in Banking. You embrace the agile way of working. Experience with Azure and Jira align is a plus.
- In this role, you will manage the communication with our stakeholders and with data modellers. You should have enough knowledge and passion about communication skills and data modelling skills.

• The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
