Credit Process Management is a new team within the 1st line of defense in Financing Solutions (FS). FS is responsible for our customers' end-to-end credit journey. FS offers customers from all customer segments the most suitable credit solution. Depending on the needs and profile of the client, FS offers its products (both standard and tailor-made financing solutions) in the different sectors.

The Credit Process Management team plays a critical role in the continuous improvement of credit and collateral processes and tools, including the implementation of regulatory changes outside IT. This continuous improvement involves simplification, innovation, AI, and outsourcing. While managing regulatory changes as efficiently as possible, the team aims to enhance the client journey and contribute to a better working environment for the Lending and Lending Support teams through process and tool optimisation.

Your Work

In this role, you will drive initiatives focused on change, innovation, and optimization within the lending domain across FS. Your work will be crucial in enhancing front-office efficiency and the overall client experience by continuously improving credit and collateral tools and processes. We are looking for someone with a strong passion for innovation, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a deep understanding of the lending domain to develop and implement strategies for process and tool enhancements, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Proactively optimize credit and collateral tools and processes via simplification, AI, automation, and outsourcing.

  • Assess existing tools and processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

  • Research, explore, and recommend innovative solutions for process and tool optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Take a strategic view on how optimization changes should be incorporated into credit and collateral processes and tools.

  • Develop and implement strategies for process and tool enhancements.

  • Ensure continuous alignment between optimization initiatives, FS goals, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure quality and controlled risk acceptance of optimization changes.

  • Implement changes by leading cross-functional teams in embedding process and tool optimization.

  • Develop documentation and provide training on new tools and optimized processes.

  • Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of process and tools improvements.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for process and tool optimization initiatives within FS.

  • Develop and maintain professional and stakeholder relationships, including with outsourcing partners.

  • Manage contracts with vendors.

  • Manage tasks and resources allocation in case of outsourcing solution.

Working Environment

You will be part of the Credit Process Management team within the 1st line of defense in FS. The team plays a critical role in continuously improving credit and collateral processes and tools, including the implementation of regulatory changes outside IT. This improvement involves simplification, innovation, AI, and outsourcing. While managing regulatory changes as efficiently as possible, the team aims to enhance the client journey and contribute to a better working environment for the Lending and Lending Support teams through process and tool optimization.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in lending, with a proven track record of leading optimisation change initiatives. Exceptional communication and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams towards achieving ambitious targets.

  • A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • At least 7 years of experience in Lending, Optimization, and/or Change Management domains.

  • In-depth knowledge of lending products, systems, and work processes.

  • Experience with simplification, automation, and artificial intelligence.

  • Strategic view on optimization and experience in implementation.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform detailed analyses.

  • Creative problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions that comply with regulations.

  • Adaptability to the evolving landscape of financial regulations.

  • Keen attention to detail for compliance and accuracy.

  • Ability to collaborate across departments and organizations.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Professional working proficiency in English and Dutch.

We Offer

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
