Your Role

As a Business Consultant in the Finance & Risk (F&R) business grids, specifically in the Strategic Regulatory Change (SRC) team, you will be integral to steering Data & Reporting (D&R) programs. Your responsibilities include managing the change portfolio across D&R initiatives such as Basel IV/CRR3, Future Model Landscape, Granular Credit Risk Reporting, and BCBS 239. You will be pivotal in developing a central data platform for Finance & Risk reporting and risk models.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide oversight for our strategic and regulatory change portfolio through consulting, reporting, and advising on data & reporting programs.

- Lead the F&R business grids change portfolio meeting, where new initiatives are proposed by grid Value Proposition Teams.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders (ELT/MT F&R business grids) within strategic programs/initiatives.

- Identify dilemmas, conduct analyses, draft scenarios, and drive strategic decisions.

- Challenge program managers on project risks, roadmaps, interdependencies between programs, etc.

- Create PowerBI dashboards (e.g., from JIRA Align) to monitor program KPIs.

- Draft decision-making documents and memos for the executive board, supervisory board, and supervisors.

- Collaborate with subsidiaries and branches to align on priorities and monitor execution progress.

- Advise the MT F&R business grids on strategic topics such as cost challenges, future grid setup, and HR initiatives.

Your Profile

- Several years of relevant work experience in banking (credit).

- Familiarity with a regulated environment from a credit risk/financial risk perspective.

- Strong background in strategy or management consulting.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to effectively structure and visualize issues and solutions.

- University-level education or equivalent experience.

- Relevant project management experience, preferably in financial institutions.

- Proven stakeholder management skills at both senior and junior levels.

- Ability to challenge the status quo with integrity and respect.

- Professional proficiency in English; proficiency in Dutch is strongly preferred.

Working Environment

The SRC team is responsible for overseeing and steering change activities across the (Credit Risk) value chain to maintain regulatory compliance and support strategic Finance and Risk ambitions. As a Business Consultant, you will support the Head of the Strategic Regulatory Change team in managing the Data & Reporting programs' strategic portfolio.
