Join our Financial Risk Grid as a Business Developer and drive impactful changes in a dynamic environment. Lead the implementation design of innovative regulatory projects and collaborate with driven colleagues from across the bank. Your advices and deliveries directly affect ABN AMRO’s regulatory compliance, profitability and capital position. The grid supports a wide array of Finance and Risk processes, as such we are a diverse team of experts with different backgrounds. - Translate business and regulatory requirements into actionable improvement proposals.
- Assess the impact of changes, prepare implementation solutions, and be closely involved in the execution.
- Collaborate with Client Units, Credit Risk, Finance and regulatory experts in aligning your advice. Knowledge of CRD/CRR/IFRS and related regulation are key to implementing changes
- Lead implementations for IRB model implementation, Basel Chain, IFRS9 Chain, Stress Testing and the associated calculators (models) for these areas, as well as other Central Risk Management processes
- Drive strategic initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance and enable business value creation.
- Balance stakeholder interests and practical delivery.
The Value Proposition Team is part of the Financial Risk Grid (200+ FTE). The grid supports a wide array of processes for Finance and Risk, mainly from a system and data perspective. Within the grid, the Value Delivery blocks support system management, while the Value proposition team deals with change. We work with experts in regulation, modelling, and IT to provide solution designs for complex, cross-value chain changes. We also support the Value Delivery Teams with specialized knowledge. The Key Challenges the grid currently faces are:
- Ensure a smooth transition to a new IT architecture amongst the background of increased regulatory requirements
- Establish frameworks and controls for regulatory implementations.
- Ensure data consistency for calculations within Basel, IFRS, and other regulatory chains
- Facilitate a transparent relationship with a varying field of stakeholders
- Master's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in credit risk, modelling, and financial institutions.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, Basel regulations, and IFRS.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive, assertive, and results-driven team player.
- Ability to work independently and lead junior team members.
- Experience in quantitative analysis and financial risk processes.
• The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
