As an Android Developer you will be a part of the scrum team. Every day, you take part in the daily scrum to discuss progress towards the sprint goal. The team works in sprints of 2 weeks and during the two weeks you will also take part in the scrum events (planning, retro & demo). You will work on user stories in order to build and improve our apps step by step. You and your team are responsible for part of the private banking international applications in Germany, Belgium and France.
Once every 2 weeks you also be part of the Android Chapter meetings, consisting of all android developers within the department. During the circle you and the other android engineers discuss how to move forward with the native application and what you technically want to improve. Your ideas are valuable for all teams and the future state of our applications. Within the Bank you will work closely with the native developers from all departments; you share information and thoughts.
As an Android Developer , you will be working in a DevOps team within Digital Channels Business & Wealth. The part where you will be working focuses on the realization and maintenance of international private banking (customer) applications for web & mobile. Within ABN AMRO IT we work according to SCRUM framework, a software development methodology based on the Agile mindset. Your scrum team consists of various disciplines (Cloud, iOS, Android, Front-end Vue-Js., Back-end JAVA, QA, Reliability Engineering). An excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge even faster, we learn from each other. Digital Channels Business & Wealth is a department with responsible team players, a hands-on mentality, innovative and with an entrepreneurial spirit.
The new way of working has been fully embraced by ABN AMRO. At the moment, we carry out our work in a hybrid mode. We go to the office together with our teams for 1 or 2 days in a week to collaborate and work together.

- You love Android and have demonstrable experience with Kotlin.
- Knowledge on Jetpack compose.
