We are looking for an additional versatile colleague in the Value Proposition Team (VPT) in the Grid Finance department. The Grid is involved with various change projects, mainly driven by regulation but also resulting from improvements and changes initiated by our colleagues within Finance, Risk and the Business lines.
You are working on subjects that are high on the bank's agenda, particularly Granular Credit Risk Reporting (GCRR) which focuses on delivering a wide variety of (detailed) data for usage of reporting. This data is used by internal stakeholders, but also flows towards external stakeholders.
As a Senior Business Developer, you will take the lead in setting-up, coordinating and executing the translation from the desired deliverable to the requirements to the data available within the systems of the bank. You will be the connector between a diverse range of stakeholders within the bank: Business, IT, Accounting, ALM, Controlling, Reporting and/or Risk in order to coordinate efforts to achieve our goals.
Among others you will be responsible for:
- Managing complex change initiatives.
- Aligning with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management.
- Coordination and monitoring of planned work for implementing data solutions.
- Performing analysis on our architecture landscape and included data.
- Define and propose solutions for achieving team goals.
- Guiding more junior colleagues in their activities.
Change initiatives for our Finance and Risk departments are located within the Finance & Risk Business Grids. One of these grids is the Finance Grid which focuses on changes affecting the Accounting, ALM and Controlling departments.
As Senior business developer you will be part of the Value Proposition Team (VPT) team which sets-up, coordinates and implements various change projects, often overarching teams, systems and departments. The team consists of seasoned Finance experts and ambitious young data professionals. Our team is result-oriented, diverse and values enjoying social events together.
One of the projects which sits high on our agenda is Granular Credit Risk Reporting (GCRR), for which we are expanding on our capabilities on processing and reporting data. As such, we are looking into the quality of our data and gaps in data availability. This in order to provide data suitable for the internal Credit risk steering process and meet the internal and regulatory standards for reporting financial and non-financial data.
To achieve this, collaboration across the whole chain is essential. The VPT has a leading role in coordinating and managing the required activities within our grid, as well as being a SPOC for other key parties within the chain. As such, in this role you will align and communicate with colleagues from Business Lines, Finance, Risk and Data Management Professionals.
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proven knowledge of Finance, Risk and/or IT.
- Experience with working on complex change initiatives
- Experience within an organization highly driven by data.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good coordination skills and stakeholder management.
- Capable of maintaining overview and setting up structured processes.
- Academic degree.
- Fluent in English

- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
