As a Data Product Owner, you represent the needs of stakeholders. Taking your vision as a basis, you translate these needs into episodes, epics, and user stories to create business value whilst staying compliant with the relevant data (risk) policies, standards and BCBS239 principles. You know how to focus on maximising value for the stakeholders in a way that is in line with the ABN AMRO data strategy and taking risk and security aspects into account. You have an ongoing dialogue with relevant stakeholders from business and IT that enables you to set priorities based on their interests. You follow developments at fellow product owners, and integrate and coordinate activities as necessary. You are responsible for a clear backlog which you use as the basis for directing the work of your DevOps team. Together with your team you are responsible for development, implementation and release of the data products which include effort to orchestrate adoption. Next to that, you are responsible for the stability of the data products, and for solving problems, incidents and the handling of end user questions of the service in scope.
As a Data Product Owner Finance & Risk Calculators Team, you become part of the F&R Consumer Data department within the Finance & Risk Data Domain of ABN AMRO Bank. The F&R Consumer Data department develops and implements data-driven products that deliver business value for both internal and external stakeholders. The Finance & Risk Calculators Team is responsible for delivering input datasets in the form of data products to support critical calculation tools, including RWA calculator, Economic Capital calculator, and IFRS9 provision services.
You are a practical thinker, a do-er, whose behaviour reflects the culture principles of Courage, Care and Collaboration. You have proven to be able to lead one or more teams as a Product Owner within an agile working environment, managing multiple dependencies, risks and can create transparency towards stakeholders with realistic roadmaps. You can maintain a healthy balance between getting the most out your team, without overpromising and based on that build a good relationship with your stakeholders. As a Data Product Owner you like to take responsibility, you are strong in the cooperation with a group of professionals and you take the team further. You are the driving force that ensures the right focus, you monitor progress and ensure delivery. You also know how to deal and communicate with demanding stakeholders. And you know how to convince the parties you need of your viewpoints and how to remove obstacles. Most importantly, you have a structured approach to your work, ensuring efficiency, clarity and consistency in delivering results.

· Bachelor (HBO) or university (WO/Master) degree
· At least 8 years of relevant work experience
· Skilled in agile way of working
· Strong understanding of data management concepts, standards, principles, and practices
· Strong understanding of finance and risk concepts. This includes knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as Basel III/IV, IFRS9 accounting standards (particularly related to provisioning), and key risk management principles related to credit, market, and operational risk. Familiarity with capital management processes, including Economic Capital and stress testing, is essential, as well as experience with financial and risk modelling
· Excellent stakeholder management skills
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· You have experience with implementing complex processes
· You are able to make choices and have proven a result-oriented approach; delivering results is your motivation
· You feel at home in a demanding environment where change is the order of the day and you can act and give direction to the teams
· You are a team player and can enthuse, assist and further develop your team
· Fluent in English
· Experience with BCBS239 is a plus
