Business Developer Finance and Risk Reporting

With everything you do, the focus is on serving the interests of our internal and external stakeholders. We optimise within the framework provided by Legislation and ABN AMRO’s Strategy. Within Finance and Risk this implies implementing Regulatory prescribed Financial and Risk Reporting in the best way possible, improving the (data) architecture, and data quality. Also, we contribute to realise the future Finance and Risk Target Architecture (Compass Program), aiming for one authoritative data source for Finance and Risk data, so that we comply to requests from our Regulators and our Business stakeholders.
In your role as Business developer you will be working for the Compass Program. Within a multidisciplinary team you will be working on defining the reporting (sourcing) requirements for our Finance reports within the future Finance and Risk Target Architecture. As a senior Business developer you will also be responsible for starting up activities to organise the work of the multidisciplinary team.
You operate within the Finance and Risk Reporting Grid working for the Compass Program. You become part of the Value Proposition Team, which provides various capabilities such as business/requirements analysis and therefore is one of the leading teams working on the requirement phase for Finance reporting within the Compass program. You will work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of Finance Policies, Finance Reporting and Finance Accounting experts.
The Grid consists of approx. 200 colleagues, who all share the passion for continuously improving the vast set of reports created by the bank. You will have plenty of opportunity to work with colleagues outside the Reporting Grid, such as the Finance Grid. We are highly dependent on other Grid’s and departments to jointly create a streamlined supply chain of correct and complete data. We help you develop yourself both professionally and as a person.

- Education at academic level (HBO or University).
- You have relevant working experience of at least 10 years.
- You have experience in conceptual, logical and physical data modelling (3NF, Rational, Dimensional)
- You have experience with Finance/Risk and reporting processes.
- You have experience in enterprise data platform design, data ingestion, and data integration (transformation) – it’s an advantage.
- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- You are effective and goal-oriented (combining thinking and doing).
- You are aimed at seeking, building and maintaining collaboration.
- You care about the quality of your deliverables and you care about your colleagues and stakeholders.
- You have the courage to be true to yourself and stretch what is to improve it.
You are Fluent in English.
