Java Developer

As a Java Developer, you play a key role in realising ABN AMRO's strategy of being a personal bank in a digital age. You are responsible for developing, maintaining and transforming our payment system landscape. You work in a DevOps team responsible for analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of software to automate and support business processes. You make sure crucial bank processes can be executed efficiently, securely and are sustainable.
Financial institutions are facing disruptive market developments, among others sparkled by instant payments and technological innovations. It is our ambition to ensure that ABN AMRO continues to be able to offer high quality and relevant services to our clients by opening to partners and clients. You will be part of the Core Transactions department, which is at the heart of the innovation and growth strategy of our Personal & Business Banking
business line. Our teams are multidisciplinary group of ambitious colleagues working with an Agile mindset and responsible for the entire payment chain. In this team we work hard, learn a lot by challenging ourselves every day, while embracing humour for a good atmosphere. Openness, transparency, quality and ownership are key values.
- 5 to 7 years of IT experience with working scrum/agile knowledge
- Extensive experience on Java 17 (or higher versions)
- Experience on testing framework (Junit, JMeter, etc)
- Experience with modern frameworks like Spring
- Good to have knowledge on Docker, Kubernetes, AKS skills
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
- Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
- An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.

* You are hired in ABN AMRO-scale 10/11. Classification is based on your experience, skills and a benchmark among colleagues (equal pay).
