Data-Driven Sustainability Specialist
Join ABN AMRO's young and fast-growing Sustainability Risk, Reporting, and Regulation (RRR) team within Corporate Banking in Amsterdam, and be a key player in our customers' sustainability transition. The RRR team holds a central position, bridging central reporting with the business. We are seeking individuals with a Master's degree and a strong affinity with data and sustainability. You should have at least 3 years of experience in data analysis in combination with either Banking, Sustainability, Risk Management, or Finance process knowledge. Support Corporate Banking with continuous, precise reporting on sustainability data and KPIs, and implement new ESG regulations by delivering data-driven insights into the portfolio. Engage in data-driven analysis to support change initiatives and improvements across sustainability processes.
You will work with both internal and client data to ensure comprehensive coverage. Additionally, you may support Climate scenario analysis and various data-driven pilots. This role is both tactical and hands-on, requiring you to collaborate with stakeholders to enhance reporting standards and standard operating procedures while maintaining control over reporting requirements and deadlines.
Leverage data analytics to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains. Utilize data insights to inform strategic decisions and contribute to the development and implementation of innovative sustainability solutions.
Join a vibrant 12-member Risk, Reporting, and Regulation (RRR) team, part of the Corporate Banking's Sustainability Expertise Team (SET). Positioned centrally within the organization, the team prioritizes:
1. continuous, accurate sustainability data reporting and KPI management;
2. providing data-driven sustainability advisory on risks and regulations to management, bankers, and customers;
3. facilitating the growth of the sustainable finance portfolio. Training the business and implementing ESG regulations are also key team activities.

We seek a candidate with a strong affinity for data and sustainability:
Education: Master's Degree in Sustainability, Information Science, IT, Law, or a comparable field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 year in data analysis combined with Business, Sustainability, Risk Management, or Finance processes, with proficiency in data/reporting applications such as Azure, Excel, and Power/SAS BI.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial institutions, sustainability regulations, risk management, PYTHON.
Skills: Proactive, flexible, and positive attitude, with the ability to transform complex data into logical, manageable process steps. Strong execution power and focus on continuous improvement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
