As an Expert Lead External Reporting, you will lead a team, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the creation of high quality datasets for external regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various departments in the bank and its entities in order to come to an agreed and concise delivery plan
- Ensure data deliveries are meeting BCBS239 regulations and bank wide data governance standards
- Lead & build a team of data professionals, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Foster collaboration & communication between IT, data management teams, co-departments in the Finance & Risk Data Domain, other Data Domains and business units to ensure well controlled data delivery.
- Prioritize and maintain the workload in Azure and JIRA.
The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance & risk data on time. We do this by improving the data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 5 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal. You will join the Consumer Data department within the Finance & Risk Domain. The F&R Consumer Data department develops and implements data-driven products that deliver business value for both internal and external stakeholders.
We seek an energetic individual with a passion for combining strategic thinking and hands-on execution. If you resonate with the following, you may be the ideal candidate:
- Master's degree and relevant work experience in data management in the banking industry, preferably in the Finance and Risk domain.
- Proven experience in leading teams and establishing effective ways of working.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements related to external reporting.
- Familiarity with data management frameworks and (data) requirements management.
- Project management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Stakeholder management
