As a Financial Risk Consultant, you will work on strategic projects and translate complex regulations into practical solutions. Your responsibilities include:
• Transforming business and regulatory requirements into actionable improvement plans.
• Assessing the impact of changes, designing implementation solutions, and supporting the execution.
• Collaborating with colleagues from Client Units, Credit Risk, and Finance to align recommendations. Knowledge of CRD/CRR, IFRS, and related regulations is key.
• Leading implementations for IRB models, Basel and IFRS9 processes, stress testing, and associated calculation models.
• Driving strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance, and enabling value creation for the business.
• Balancing stakeholder interests and practical execution.
You will become part of the Value Proposition Team within the Financial Risk Grid (200+ colleagues). This grid supports a variety of processes in Finance and Risk, with a focus on systems and data. The Value Proposition Team is dedicated to change and works closely with specialists in regulation, modelling, and IT to design complex, cross-value chain solutions.
Key challenges you will contribute to:
• Managing the transition to a new solution architecture within a more demanding regulatory landscape.
• Developing frameworks and controls for regulatory implementations.
• Ensuring consistent data for calculations within Basel, IFRS, and other processes.
• Maintaining transparent relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
You are an ambitious professional with sharp analytical skills and broad knowledge of financial risks and regulations. We are looking for someone with:
• A Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in credit risk, modelling, and/or financial institutions.
• Deep knowledge of Basel regulations, IFRS, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• A proactive, results-driven, and assertive mindset.
• Experience in quantitative analysis and financial risk processes.
