Are you passionate about being at the forefront of the data management framework and shaping the foundation of the Finance and Risk Data Domain? We are seeking an enthusiastic Data Modeller to strengthen our team.

Your job

As member of the Internal Risk Reporting team you will work together with your colleagues for the implementation of credit risk reports and dashboards serving the entire organization with the purpose of becoming the ‘one stop shop for credit risk reports’. We aim to provide the compass for supporting the credit risk steering. The activity of the team is organized to cover the end-to-end credit reports development process from collecting the client requirements, data definitions, data sourcing into a reporting datamart, ETL, dashboards development in PowerBI, BCBS 239 compliance (data lineage, validation, compliance, etc) and regular maintenance activities for the delivered dashboards.

Workenvironment

The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance & risk data on time. We do this by improving the data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 5 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.
The Value Proposition Team (VPT) maintains the vision and the IT, Data and Business architecture of the the F&R Data Domain. The VPT supports the implementation of the vision of the domain. The VPT is an important spider in the web when it comes to driving the overall portfolio of the domain, also in relation to the change portfolios of other departments that the Finance and Risk Data Domain interacts with.

• You have a completed university education and at least 5 years of relevant work experience
• You have Master’s Degree
• You have (demonstrable) experience in designing and working with complex data sets, tools and components of the data architecture
• You have (demonstrable) experience with Data Modeling
• You have (demonstrable) experience with SQL and Cloud (Azure).
• You have a Helicopter view and are able to stand above the material.
• You have (demonstrable) affinity with IT
• You embrace the agile way of working
• Focused on collaboration, innovation and achieving goals
• Data driven and innovative
• You have the skills to challenge your stakeholders and find out the "question behind the question"
• Knowledge of Financial Services is an advantage
