Your role

As a Lending Advisor within the Expertise Lending department you play a pivotal role by advising and supporting relationship managers with professional financing applications. You are responsible for preparing credit files and monitoring the risks within our credit portfolio.

Your responsibilities

  • Credit Application Guidance: You provide support to relationship managers in handling credit applications.
  • Credit Analysis: You process credit applications and identify associated risks in a detailed credit memo. By conducting strategic financial analyses, including sector and corporate financial assessments, you gain insight into the strengths and weaknesses of clients, enabling precise risk assessment.
  • Credit Structuring: You develop financing proposals that align perfectly with the client's needs while adhering to our credit and pricing policies. For complex cases, you conduct preliminary internal consultations with the risk department.
  • Risk Monitoring: You oversee the risks within credit files and ensure adequate follow-up. When risks escalate, you develop an action plan to protect the bank's interests.

You

  • have a degree in Economics, Law or any related field
  • have at least 5 years’ experience in lending, preferably in a corporate environment
  • are fluent in Dutch, French and English
  • combine a commercial feeling with diplomacy, discretion and reliability;
  • are a true enabler

  • like to achieve strong results
