Commercial Assistant - Wealth Management

As a Commercial Assistant in our Wealth Management team in Brussels, you are a crucial link in ensuring excellent service and sustainable financial solutions for the public sector. At ABN AMRO, we are committed to supporting institutional clients, including local governments.

• You support our Relationships Managers in managing portfolios for institutional clients (cities, municipalities, public welfare centres, intermunicipal organisations, etc.)
• You handle the administrative follow-up of client files: opening accounts, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance requirements are met
• You ensure smooth and professional communication with clients, both written and verbal
• You stay informed of market trends and client needs, and proactively share opportunities with the team
• You assist in preparing client visits, presentations, and public tender files

• have a minimum a bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance, economics or law), or equivalent experience
• have initial experience in the banking sector or with institutional clients
• are a true enablerset things in motion, turn an idea into a plan
• like to achieve strong resultsby being accurate & organized
• are a clear communicatorclient-oriented & enjoy working in a team
• are fluent in Dutch and French. English is a plus
• have a basic understanding of corporate structures (functions such as : board of directors, managing director, financial director, authorised representative) and a basic understanding of different types of legal entities
• can interpret articles of association
