Front-end Chapter Lead

In the mortgages department based in Amstelveen, we are working hard to create software that enables customers and mortgage advisors to work as smoothly and as quickly as possible. Are you our new enthusiastic chapter lead who will help us make this possible? We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced front-end chapter lead.

As a Chapter lead at our grid, you will combine working in a team with your role as Chapter Lead. Thus, you will be working both as a Vue developer in your interdisciplinary team and manage your chapter. This includes:

• Being an active developer in a DevOps team
• Coaching your chapter members on technical craftsmanship
• Guiding personal development of the people in your team
• Take care of the HR processes to facilitate all aspects relating to recruitment and the on- and offboarding of employees, development, and performance
• Alignment with other chapters so we learn from each other and create a strong community of developers. Together you create a vision and strategy
• Actively participating in knowledge gaining and sharing by hosting triangles, circles, communities, and events
• Alignment with IT Lead
• Create and foster a healthy working environment and a holistic culture for your chapter
• Educating yourself and others with the right technical capabilities and the latest innovations

For the development part of your role, the team you are part of consists of various specialists such as other developers, testers, business analysts and the product owner. You work on the applications together with these specialists, flexibly from home or at the office. You will be part of a DevOps scrum team in which you help to develop one or more mortgage applications. In addition, you will be the Chapter Lead of the front-end (Vue) chapter. In this chapter we coach each other and try to keep ourselves up to date with the latest developments regarding code inside and outside the bank. An important role here as well is coaching your chapter members and guiding the personal development of your chapter members. We work via the hybrid way of working and normally come to the office 1 or 2 days a week. It is a necessity to reside in the Netherlands.

• Experience in working Devops
• Problem solving skills
